We start with drying and washing the avocado side streams, to prepare the raw material. We make sure we remove any pesticides by treatment with our solutions.

FIRST STEP

oIL EXTRACTION

We extract the oil from the side-streams by using aqueous-extraction methods. The fat is split into glycerol and fatty acids.

glycerol connctions

The glycerol part is reacting with a propylene oxide solution.The reason? To produce the fat-blocking system, meaning glycerol with propylene glycol units (PGUs).

THIRD
STEP

SMART REACTIONS

The converted glycerol is reacted with the fatty acids that got separated. That way, we develop EPG (alternative fat).

STEP

rEFINING & FILTERING

In this last step, our ingredient is refined, filtered and hydrogenated; to maintain the stability of our product and higher temperature control.
