In-person| Internship | 32 hours/week | 6 months

The Role

You will be part of Fooditive’s operations team, supporting internal execution across client, partner, and project-related activities. This is a coordination-focused role with strong exposure to how a biotech company operates behind the scenes. You will work at the intersection of operations, communication, and project tracking to help ensure that meetings lead to actions, timelines are followed up properly, and important details do not get lost across fast-moving workstreams.

You will help connect day-to-day execution across commercial, technical, and operational activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, clear communication, follow-through, and keeping work moving in a fast-paced environment.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear and up-to-date project trackers covering actions, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and next steps

  • Support coordination across internal teams, clients, and external partners to keep projects progressing on time

  • Draft meeting notes, summaries, action lists, and follow-up points after internal and external meetings

  • Follow up on open items and help ensure that deadlines, action points, and pending decisions do not go unnoticed

  • Help identify operational delays or coordination risks early and summarize them clearly for internal review

  • Prepare agendas and support structured meeting preparation to ensure discussions lead to clear decisions and actions

  • Organize project information, communication threads, and supporting documents so that updates remain clear and accessible

  • Support the preparation of concise internal updates and executive-ready summaries

  • Help maintain consistency across project documentation, status updates, and hand-offs

  • Contribute to the overall discipline, clarity, and follow-through needed to support a fast-moving startup environment

 

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a BSc or MSc in Business, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Operations, International Business, or a related field

  • Interested in working at the intersection of operations, communication, project support, and business execution

  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented when handling timelines, documents, and follow-up actions

  • Comfortable working across multiple parallel workstreams and keeping track of moving priorities

  • Demonstrates leadership potential, takes initiative, and follows through reliably from planning to completion

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, structured, and actionable summaries

  • Comfortable coordinating with different stakeholders and helping keep projects aligned, on time, and well communicated

  • Proactive, accountable, and willing to support the team wherever needed

  • Confident using structured tools such as trackers, spreadsheets, or task lists to maintain clarity

  • Fluent in English

Preferred Background

  • A background in biotechnology, food technology, or life sciences is strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with project coordination, stakeholder communication, or operations support is a strong advantage

  • Basic understanding of scientific development processes, fermentation workflows, product development, or regulatory milestones is helpful

  • Interest in building a career in operations, client coordination, project management, or business execution within a science-driven company
